Hello, I am a graduate student at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. Currently, I am working on my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I am excited to increase my skills and abilities at Live Well Counseling as not only an adolescent counselor, but also an individual and couples counselor.

I have been married to my husband for 21 years and together we have been blessed with both biological and adopted children. I have lived in Idaho, Washington, Georgia, and now I am here in Utah. I enjoy making friends with individuals in different areas, seeing how they live, and learning from their culture and values. My experience includes working with anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, trauma, learning difficulties, foster care and loss.

One of my favorite things to do is to go hiking in the mountains.  Being on top of a mountain and looking out over the horizon is both spiritual and rejuvenating to me.  Reaching the summit makes even the toughest hikes worth the climb.  I believe we all have mountains to climb in life, but together we can make it to the top. “Today is your day!  Your mountain is waiting, so… get on your way!”- Dr. Seuss
