In addition to traditional therapy, we offer play therapy services for young children or those who may have trouble finding expressing their feelings in words. During these sessions our therapists observe a child playing with toys, books, blocks, dolls, puppets, and other things to look for patterns that can help determine what a child is feeling or experiencing. We can also use the same playtime to help the child learn coping strategies and skills to address those feelings in a healthy way.

Proven Treatment Methods
Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process, which is why we use a range of different treatments and methods depending on your individual needs. We are trained in traditional therapy, as well as:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
- Mindfulness
- Mind-Body Bridging
These various methods can be used on their own, or in conjunction with others, to help you identify what is going on in your life and find ways to cope with it.
We offer therapy in an individual setting, as a family or with some members of a family, or as a couple. We also offer couples the option to come in for a “checkup”. During this short 30-minute session you can discuss your concerns and questions with a counselor and determine if more in-depth sessions could help you address those concerns. These checkups are a simple and affordable first step if you’re not sure whether you want to try couples counseling.
